Subscribe Now

The Equality Act 2010 says people must not be discriminated against in employment because they are married or in a civil partnership. Under the Act marriage can either be between a man and a woman, or between partners of the same sex. Civil partnership is between partners of the same sex. Once the session is complete, you will know who is protected by the act and how an individual can be discriminated against within the three main discrimination categories.
