*IAMI GUEST* Advanced Valet Service (Unit 09)

The Crew Academy’s GUEST-accredited Advanced Valet Service program is designed to provide you with the expertise needed to deliver an exceptional level of service as well as mastering the art of anticipation.

During this program, you will be provided with the tools and skills needed to act as a trusted personal assistant to the owner, and how to manage tasks with the confidentiality needed.  

Here you will also gain vital insights into how to handle guest belongings with meticulous care, as well as specialised knowledge in garment care, including repairs and maintenance.

You will also perfect the art of ironing and pressing garments, and most importantly how to anticipate the needs of your guests and how to plan ahead, ensuring every aspect is flawless upon their arrival.

Course Format

• 12 and a half hours of guided eLearning through the kelp platform.

• Series of multiple-choice knowledge checks throughout the course.

• Practical assessments throughout.

• Online examination to complete (30 multiple choice or short answer questions, 1 hour).

• Good internet, computer & printer

• Device with video capabilities 

• Iron & ironing board

• Assortment of items for practical assessment:

• Dress shoes

• Shoe polish

• Needle & thread

• A garment that needs mending (tear, loose hem, missing button)

• A tie

• Clothing hangers

• Dress pants / trousers

• Sweater
