Cross-team collaboration is when a group of people with a wide range of skills work together on a project. It’s a scenario in which you might be a leader of one team but be given a task that requires you to bring experts in from another team. We know that cross-team working can improve results and provides an opportunity to learn new ways of approaching tasks from various perspectives but it can be quite tricky because it may sometimes create a war of ideas.
There are lots of things to consider when picking the most practical combination of co-workers. However, if we build a clear purpose of the team, referred to as a team charter, we will conquer all of the challenges.
