Description

The Yacht Owner’s Representative Program (YORP) is the fully-accredited qualification designed to set a new industry standard for the role of an Owner’s Representative (OR).

Backed by SYBAss and accredited by IAMI & GUEST, the program has been developed to provide a deep understanding and practical knowledge on the leadership, operational and technical skills required for this role. It is directed at all existing and aspiring owner’s representatives, project managers, captains, officers and contractors working in any shipyard on behalf of a yacht owner.

Course Overview

The Crew Academy course is delivered 100% online in collaboration with specialist contractors, shipyard personnel and other industry experts who deliver live guest lectures throughout the course.

This YORP covers all the practical tools ORs need to have in order to deliver a new build or refit: from project management and compliance; to the finer details of yacht design and build; as well as financial, legal and administrative knowledge.
