Not everyone will be always fit and healthy all the time, so we can expect to have a certain number of people absent from work at any one time. This only becomes an issue if the degree of absence is higher than average, or people are seen as taking advantage of the company’s absence policies. This session identifies what can be done to effectively manage absence and understand the reasons for it. Once the session is completed, you will be able to Identify the way you need to deal with absence at work, recognise the people who you may need to be more sympathetic or empathetic towards and analyse the culture you wish to maintain when leading a team, so absence doesn’t become an issue.
