Program outline

The next 12 weeks are structured into 2 parts. The first 6 weeks explore key management and leadership concepts followed by 6 weeks exploring in detail the areas of HR, Recruitment, Safeguarding, well-being and Mental Health.

The advanced leadership program consists of:

    • self-directed learning – online VLE content (corresponding VLE modules are released week by week).
    • 2 online live sessions which provide exposure to leadership models, principles, and tools, practical skills building as well as enabling reflection.
    • 1 Q&A per week – using action learning to share questions, and challenges and enable reflection.
    • Mini assignments each week – for practical application of learning.

The online VLE modules, released week by week, are for you to work through at your own pace with mini assignments to help with your reflection and application of the learning.

You are responsible for managing your own time in order to work through the resources, complete the mini-assignment and to share your learning and reflections with fellow participants during the Q&A action learning sessions.

The purpose of the Q&A sessions and mini assignments is help you to reflect on your learning so far; become more aware of the impact you have as a manager and practice your leadership skills; develop an awareness of your own strengths and limitations through personal reflection; give constructive feedback, support and coach peers.

We look forward to working with and accompanying you on your Leadership Journey!
