Cross Team Working

Cross-team collaboration is when a group of people with a wide range of skills work together on a project. It’s a scenario in which you might be a leader of one team but be given a task that requires you to bring experts in from another team. We know that cross-team working can improve results and provides an opportunity to learn new ways of approaching tasks from various perspectives but it can be quite tricky because it may sometimes create a war of ideas. 

There are lots of things to consider when picking the most practical combination of co-workers. However, if we build a clear purpose of the team, referred to as a team charter, we will conquer all of the challenges.

Once the session is completed, you will be able to define the meaning of team charter, identify the charters that outline clearly the purpose of the team and apply techniques that will help in building a successful cross functional team.
