This course covers the role of the broker or owner’s representative of a new build project from signing the contract until the finalisation of the warranty period. (The role of an Owner’s Representative or broker during the yard selection and sales process is not part of this course. Nevertheless, it is important to understand the basics of the steps prior to the signing of the contract.) This topic will first explain the process of a fully custom-built yacht and explain the differences between a series-built yacht and a platform-based yacht.
